Query: Would it be feasible to add an npc (or modify an existing one) to reset the faction hits to default levels (set player action mods to 0 again) for certain kills in exchange for aa unspent aa/ platinum?
This could be a wide range hit (all four faction hits from killing Tunare) or once for each individual factions. The first would cost more, but the second would take a larger spam listing. The costs could, of course, vary by difficulty of factions to raise. Maybe even limit it to factions that cannot be modified positively by actions.
Reasoning: Some flagging kills drop factions that are unable to be raised or are simply a grind-fest of nonXP faction farming. This way a player could still go back and explore/quest, as they please. It also gives another use for any AA points beyond character ability advancement.
addendum: If this would be too much, perhaps an addition to higher end faction hits in opposing zones: (example: Hunting in hate gives + to Solders, Servants, and Clerics of Tunare, and also Faydark Champions.) Although I see this being more aggravating, on your end, than an addition of a single npc.

Interesting idea. Added to the list to investigate.

Regarding faction, to start, I think I want to add an NPC to hub (or a quest to existing NPC) to display your faction values to you.
After that is done, I will see what else makes sense to do, if anything. Thanks for the suggestions.

Another idea is a custom quest that accomplishes the same thing. i.e. the reward is faction reset for one or all factions
Maybe something like a scavenger hunt type quest that is themed as running errands for "The Wife" in hub.
