Fishlord ring events in Plane of Water - Resolved

We give either of the Fishlord the required platinum.  Either one will move to their summoning location, but instead of starting event they will immediately move back to spawn.  Nothing else seems to happen.

Can you confirm these events are working?

They seem to be working but they seem to be completely ridiculous.

Looks like he'll path to his spot then go back. After 7 min some trash will spawn and it will keep spawning every 7 min. After 40 min a mini named will spawn and will keep spawning every 40 min until you've killed 10. At the 6 hour mark (yes, 6 hours..) the final named will spawn.

I will rework these two events to be doable in an hour or so.

The event as you describe it is exactly how it is described on live servers.  The many hours of fish spawning may be been in place to provide the requisite quantity of the rare dropped trade skill material, "Shimmering Fish Gills".  Some mobs with better drop rate spawn only in this event.

Plane of Water player crafted plate armor recipes exist on this server in the original state before chain binding was removed from the live game December 2004. This means 34 Shimmering Fish Gills are required per set of crafted armor.

I was looking forward to this event as the primary investment of my time when not in raid, to craft Farwater armor for Shaman pet.

Could you give me an opportunity to see how the event plays here before you make any changes?  Or could you please consider at least a parity of shimmering fish gill drop potential, with any change made to the event.

Interesting. Well, you seem to be the only person interested in these events so far and if you want them to remain 6 hours I won't create work for myself for no reason...
